We are looking for a Junior QA Engineer to join our team within the Engineering department. This position is dedicated to enhance the quality of our product stream dedicated to one of our enterprise clients. As a member of our team, you’ll not only have the chance to play an important role in ensuring our product delivers the desired value to our clients but also to actively learn from our experienced team members.

Key responsibilities:

• Organizing, writing, and executing test cases
• Bug reporting and tracking
• Manual testing 
• Creating and maintaining automatic tests
• Implementing and maintaining performance tests
• Preparing and executing regression testing before release
• Collaborating with the development team during the entire development cycle 
• Working with the QA team to improve internal processes and tools

Who are we looking for?

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in information technology, computer science, or another related technical degree
• 1+ years of Software Testing experience

Required skills & knowledge

• Experience with API testing (preferably using Postman as a tool) and understanding of XML and JSON formats
• Knowledge of web technologies (Client-Server architecture, HTML, CSS, REST, SOAP)
• Ability to create test cases, checklists, test plans, and test summaries 
• Clear and concise communication to signal risks and explain ideas and procedures step-by-step 
• Analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in both Croatian and English language

Nice to have:

• Experience with performance testing tools (e.g. JMeter, K6, Bombardier, etc.)
• Basic programming skills (JAVA, C#)
